What is the Purpose of a AZ Licence?
Air brake systems on tractors and trailers are covered by a class AZ licence. You are then allowed to operate any truck and tractor trailer. a set of towed vehicles with air brakes that are combined with a motor vehicle and have a gross weight of more than 10,000 pounds. Start learning from our skilled and friendly instructors how to safely operate heavy vehicles like road trucks, semi-trailers, 18-wheelers, and long-distance heavy haulers.
AZ TRACTOR-TRAILER (MELT) PROGRAM (116 HRS)
116 hours of training with the duration of 4-5 weeks
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Included!
MELT (Mandatory Entry-Level Training Course)
Master Skills such as Speed Control, Lane Changes, Steering Control, Braking, Reversing and Parking
Learn Advanced Skills such as Left & Right Turns and Lane Changes in Heavy Traffic, Night Driving & Driving in Bad Weather

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicant should be of 18 years or above
Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Licence or higher
OSSD Grade 12 Diploma (or higher), or Proof of Grade 10 English Equivalency
MTO approved Medical Form Completed
Knowledge Verification of Rules of the Road & Signs
