WHAT OUR COURSE OFFERS?

THE 6 DIFFERENT FORKLIFTS ->

  • This forklift is frequently used to load and unload cargo onto and into trucks for transportation. Counterbalance forklifts come in a wide variety of makes and models. For navigating different terrain, there are forklifts that can be used inside or outdoors. There are numerous fuel options available, including diesel, electrically powered, and propane-powered equipment. All machines depend on hydraulics to lift objects and carry out their tasks. Despite the fact that all trucks perform the same basic tasks, the location of the controls and the machines' general design may differ. You can become a competent operator with enough practice.

  • For simple braking, Narrow-Aisle Reach has a "deadman" pedal. Deadmen pedal will instantly brake on release. Depending on make and model, a narrow aisle reach can support up to 4500 lbs. It has a 30.5 foot maximum height as well. A reach forklift truck requires you to operate while standing straight. Pulling and positioning merchandise off racks is its main duty. A reach forklift's main use is to enter small spaces or the space between racks that are placed closer together.

  • A counterbalanced truck called a dock-stocker allows the operator to stand while functioning the machine. This lift is weighed down in the same manner as the Counterbalance to offset the weight on the front forks. This lift truck is very similar to your typical counterbalance. The main purpose of the dock-stocker is that it is used on the dock, to load and unload trailers.

  • The Order Picker, also known as the Cherry Picker, is apart of your typical narrow aisle trucks. The operator is lifted up and down from rack locations using this truck. This has made it possible to use racking and warehouse space more effectively. Using an order picker increases facility efficiency and shortens processing times. Although this device is simpler to use and has fewer functions, accidents can still happen. The operator is frequently lifted high, so he must always be secured by a safety harness.

  • Effective Walkie Training is essential for preventing accidents, injuries, and fatalities. By contributing, we can all help to make our workplaces safer. For order picking at ground level, a walkie, also referred to as an electric hand truck or a pallet truck, is frequently used. The walkie is a small but effective tool for loading, unloading and moving goods around a facility. You can pick between longer, ride-on models or shorter, walk-only models. Some even include an additional booster to boost speed. Although all walkie trucks have the same basic functions, the placement of the controls and overall "feel" may vary. However, once you understand how they operate, any electric pallet machine won't be too difficult for you to use. Despite being small, the walkies hazards should not be disregarded.
